Cheryl Reeser, CIC, CISR

Agency Operations Manager

Cheryl has been with Snyder Insurance since 1986. During this time she has worked in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, System Administration and is currently the Manager of Agency Operations. In 1995 Cheryl obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation Cheryl has just completed her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Cheryl continues to head up the agency's system administration and is active in the local Applied Systems user group.

When Cheryl is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.

Pauline Boaz

Commercial Lines Account Manager

Pauline joined Snyder Insurance's professional customer service team in 2002. She is a graduate of Augustana College and has spent several years at a major insurance company in the area of claims service. Her insurance background includes the completion of the IIA Program, parts of CPCU, and licensing in the area of commercial Fire and Casualty.

Amber Bury

Life/Health Account Manager

Amber came to Snyder Insurance in 2005 from a major insurer in Phoenix where she worked as a Customer Service Representative. She completed college while in Phoenix and has an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology. Amber's job is to make your job as a health benefits coordinator easier. She has extensive knowledge of the products offered through Snyder Insurance, and her outstanding customer service will help you have smooth claims experiences.

Originally from Hoopeston, Illinois, Amber is happy to be closer to her family while continuing her career at Snyder Insurance as the Account Manager in Live and Health.

Brooke Dickson

Personal Lines Account Manager

Brooke came to Snyder in October 2003. She received her producer license in 2005 and is currently working to obtain her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation.

Brooke is a native of Normal, IL and graduated from Normal Community High School in 2000. She married her high school sweetheart and is proud of her daughter Makayla. She loves to paint and take pictures. She assists her husband with the Jr. High group at her church. Brooke is also an Independent Mary Kay Consultant.

Sally Hershberger
CISR

 Marketing Director

Sally Hershberger has been with Snyder Insurance for more than 5 years. She was previously an agent with a large regional carrier and she is licensed in both Property and Casualty and Life Health.

A graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in Public Relations, Sally has more than 30 years experience in the fields of communications, public relations, marketing and advertising. At Progressive Impressions International she was a project manager marketing communications pieces for several Fortune 100 companies including a number of insurance companies.

At Snyder Sally handles the marketing campaigns for new prospects and the advertising for the agency. Sally obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 2008. She is a native of Bloomington-Normal.

Christine Huddleston

Christine is originally from Central Illinois and has a bachelor's degree from Illinois State University in Studio Art and Photography. Christine is licensed in Property Casualty Insurance. She joined Truck Insurance Specialists in the summer of 2006.

Before Christine began her insurance career she worked in various retail establishments.

Sandra Kirby

Agency Accounting

Sandra began her career with Snyder Insurance in 1994. Sandra started at the front desk before transferring to accounting. She became insurance licensed in 1989. Her duties now include all aspects of accounting procedures including deposits, reconciliation of statements, accounts receivables, and invoicing.

Sandra and her husband Myron reside in Farmer City and are very active in statewide American Legion activities.

Leslie McDonald

Account Executive--Champaign

Leslie began her insurance career in 1988 by working both on the agency and company side of the insurance industry. She brings with her a background in commercial insurance rating, underwriting as well as years of personal and commercial insurance processing and customer service. Leslie's specialty with Snyder is personal lines insurance and well as daycares and beauty salons.

She joined the Snyder Insurance Agency in 2005 and is the Agency Operations Manager in the Champaign branch.

Leslie is a member of the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce, East Central Illinois ABATE, Women's Business Council and the Savoy Elks Club. She and her husband Scott reside in Tolono, IL.

John Niederbrach

Marketing--New Business Submissions

John has 18 years experience with national and regional insurance companies in various commercial underwriting positions. At Snyder Insurance John is responsible for new business submissions and marketing of renewal policies.

Most recently, John was an underwriter for Indiana Insurance in Champaign. He has more than 10 years experience marketing commercial accounts for agencies located in central Illinois. He joined Snyder Insurance in March of 2004. John is a native of Decatur, IL but has also worked other places in the Midwest, in Texas and in California.

Ginnie Schimelpfenig

Claims Coordinator

The true test of any insurance policy is when you have a claim. As our claims coordinator, Ginnie Schimelpfenig will represent your interest to the insurance company and will work to expedite settlements on your behalf.

Ginnie is a graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in Education. She started her career with Snyder Insurance Agency in August, 2004.

Prior to joining the agency, she managed her husband's chiropractic office in Normal, IL. She also worked as a property/casualty underwriter for a major insurance company in the 1990's and as an educator for Head Start of McLean County. Licensed in Fire and Casualty insurance, she attends continuing education classes and is working to earn her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.

Ginnie currently resides in Bloomington with her husband and three teenagers.

Shelly Blessing,CISR

In 2006 Shelly earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation which requires her to complete five different courses and pass five examinations to earn the designation.

Marlene Shepherd

Commercial Lines Account Manager

Marlene brings many years insurance experience to Snyder Insurance. She began her insurance career in 1985 in the bond department of a major insurance company and has also worked for a few local independent insurance agencies. With more than 12 years experience with Snyder, Marlene has excellent knowledge of commercial insurance and bonds, and has also worked with personal insurance.

Licensed in both Fire and Casualty and Accident/Health and Life, Marlene attends continuing education classes each year to keep abreast of the insurance industry and to keep her licenses current. She is the agency's software (Applied Systems) trainer and serves as President of the Central Illinois TAM Users Group, a group of local agencies who all use Applied Systems software.

Born and raised in Bloomington, Marlene is also the resident fitness expert, teaching  classes at the YMCA. She also enjoys riding one of her three bikes...road and mountain bikes and a 2007 Harley Davidson.

Candy Van Hook

Marketing Assistant

Candy is a graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in Marketing. She came to Snyder Insurance in the summer of 2006 after working for a bankruptcy attorney. Candy and her husband live in LeRoy.

Candy oversees the prospect database and the workflow between the marketing campaigns and the follow-ups by the producers. She is known for her innovative marketing ideas and diligence in keeping our data up-to-date.

Sedenia Wigfall

Receptionist

Always with a bright cheery smile and a kind word, Sedenia is the Snyder Insurance receptionist. She assists with many of the tasks that keep our agency organized including keeping us stocked with office supplies.

Sedenia worked for a large company in Chicago for many years before relocating to Bloomington/Normal with her husband Ron and daughter Cheyenne.

Karen White

Marketing Assistant

Karen started her career with Snyder Insurance in the LeRoy office in January, 2007. She brings with her a background of banking and a long career in real estate. Karen takes great pride in the excellent customer service she provides for all our clients.

Karen has been very active in the community, including Special Olympics, MARC board, Easter Seals, as well as many committees with the church and real estate. She is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Originally from Southern Illinois, Karen resides in LeRoy. She has three grown children, Kim, Jason and Jill, and three granddaughters, Kylie, Abby, and Emma.

Hilary Sandy

Account Manager

Hilary is originally from Denver, Colorado. She has recently joined the Snyder Insurance team and is account manager in the LeRoy office.

A career in marketing and customer service has spanned more than 15 years and Hilary has lived all over the west. She attended college at the International Business School in  Albuquerque, NM where she studied computer science and accounting.

In her non-work hours, Hilary enjoys camping, fishing, or just sitting by a fire with her family.
